Arboleas is a very pretty 'white village' and it is attractive for many reasons.  There are  banks, a post office, chemist, medical centre, shops, supermarkets, a school, bars and a magnificent church.

The coast is approximately 25-30 minutes away where you will find the resorts of Mojacar, Garrucha, Carboneras, and Vera Playa. The roads are quiet and traffic is very light and you will find that places such as Almeria City, Granada, Murcia and Alicante are an easy relaxed drive away.

Around the Almanzora River, you can choose between many idyllic settings in and around the Almeria area to place the house of your dreams.

For example in the Almanzora Valley. This is divided in three regions depending on the course of the river: Upper Almanzora, Middle Almanzora, Lower Almanzora. In the Upper Almanzora, you can find an eye-catching place with plenty of history and legends. In the Mountains of Las Estancias and Los Filabres, you can enjoy mountain villages, of typical whitewashed houses with slate roof, its zigzag slanting streets and the country houses in the valley.

In the Middle Almanzora, the villages, are scattered in the slopes of the mountains and have an important past with traces of the Roman and Muslim cultures and also from the Middle Ages. The Lower Almanzora is a region with large valleys and small mountains. The sea bathes the shores of this region. There are a lot of natural caves and small gullies forming mountain caves in the beach creating a place of outstanding beauty.
