Riviera del Sol is only 25 minutes from Málaga's international airport and situated between Marbella and Fuengirola on the north side of the N340.

It is a popular destination as it has everything you could possibly need, such as shops, bars, restaurants, chemist, health centre and public transport.

Riviera del Sol has only recently been developed and consists of urbanisations and golf courses catering for a growing number of ex-pat residents and holidaymakers.

Two decades ago this region was mostly farmland, the landscape dotted by the odd farmhouse and outbuildings.  The roads were dirt tracks and the area was not a place people would visit. Today it is thriving!

Riviera del Sol is a popular destination on the Costa del Sol due to its own microclimate and over 300 days of sunshine each year. 

It has its own golf course and clubhouse where you can play tennis or attend the golf academy.  You can find many other sports in the local area, just 5-10 minutes drive away, including windsurfing, water-skiing and catamaran trips.

The town also has several small stores, restaurants and bars, including a Pizzeria and a Chinese, within easy walking distance of the holiday complexes. The shops are opposite the very peaceful and popular Princess Diana Park and a new open Cor supermarket has recently been constructed.
