ABOUT FUENGIROLA
Fuengirola is about 25kms south west of Malaga International Airport, roughly half way between Malaga City and Marbella. This is a very popular location for summer holidays with about 10kms of beaches with The Paseo de Maritimo running from Carvajal at the boundary with
Benalmadena Costa and through Torreblanca, Los Boliches, central Fuengirola , with it’s marina and to the western end across the bridge over Rio de Fuengirola and reaching the Sohail Castle with gardens and beach at the Beatriz Palace & Spa Hotel.
The banks of Rio de Fuengirola were renovated in recent years and now have a café / restaurant, pleasant walkways either side with exercise machines and games. There are also ‘SWAN’ boats for hire.
Close to this area is Myramar indoor shopping centre which is on two levels with quality retail shops, large supermarket, cinema and a range of cafés and restaurants. Overall Fuengirola is an impressive resort with excellent accommodation to suit all budgets, great restaurants and a wide range of attractions which are ideal for family holidays.
